Job summary
The position includes but is not limited to the following essential job duties responsibilities and requirements Provides prompt excellent customer service in a courteous friendly and attentive manner Greets customers as they enter the area and thanks customers as they leave Gives assistance and offers suggestions or recommendations to the customer Rings up all sales on cash register properly and accurately handles money checks and other types of payment received for product sold Performs multi-function operation of fuel console lottery machines money order machine telecom transactions etc Reports to work on time follows the dress appearance code Maintains store facility s condition equipment Company brand standards cleaning general housekeeping duties Inspects store facilities equipment safety cleanliness proper working order Notifies Store Manager equipment failure maintenance supply needs Completes build-to s ordering purchasing merchandise Receives verifies vendor deliveries Maintains adequate stock throughout store supplies counter areas rotates stock properly Places advertising pricing signage inside outside facility marquee ceilings walls windows Controls merchandise cash shortages selling expenses Assists maintaining proper inventory levels shift audits Keeps accurate accurate records accounts variances Notifies Store Manager sales discrepancies Follows Company guidelines product breakage spoilage Reports incidents including employee customer injuries theft property damage improper sanitation waste disposal Situation unsafe unlawful unethical conduct occurring Keeps record shift timekeeping paperwork May take inventory supplies equipment Attends job-related meetings may be required irregular hours Provides regular predictable onsite attendance Performs other duties assigned Store Manager
