Job Summary
The Product Support Representative (PSR) is responsible for driving revenue growth across four core areas: parts, service and rentals.
This role involves proactive customer engagement, relationship management, and solution-based selling to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting company sales targets.
The PSR is a key customer-facing representative who ensures HTX Material Handling remains the preferred partner for material handling solutions in the region.
Key ResponsibilitiesParts Sales
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of OEM and aftermarket parts.
Promote and sell parts solutions to existing and prospective customers.
Provide accurate quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
Track inventory and coordinate with the parts department for restocking needs.
Service Sales
Generate leads and sell maintenance contracts, repairs, and inspection services.
Educate customers on planned maintenance programs and benefits of proper equipment upkeep.
Work closely with the service department to coordinate scheduling and ensure service delivery aligns with customer expectations.
Follow up on service satisfaction and identify future service needs.
Rental Sales
Sell short- and long-term rental solutions for material handling equipment.
Understand rental fleet availability and match customers with the right equipment based on operational needs.
Assist in rental agreements, pricing, and delivery coordination.
Support fleet utilization goals and work to minimize equipment downtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the material handling or industrial equipment sector.
Strong knowledge of forklifts, industrial equipment, or related mechanical systems preferred.
Proven ability to generate leads, manage a pipeline, and close deals.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (local travel required).
