    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Acute Care/OBS position in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 2 years of acute care experience and an active CO or Compact RN license.

    Responsibilities

    • Acute care/med-surg adult and observation unit in a hospital setting
    • Patient population includes orthopedic surgery, hybrid cath lab procedures, and acute/chronic illness cases
    • Sub-modalities include med-surg adult, observation, and telemetry med/surg
    • 12-hour day shifts with a weekend rotation
    • On-call rotation required: 1 call shift per 2-week period if requested due to staffing needs
    • Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care using the nursing process
    • DOB or SSN required for consideration
    • Local candidates are not eligible for this position

    Requirements

    • Active CO or Compact RN license currently in hand (must be verified via Nursys)
    • Current BLS and ACLS certifications issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required
    • Minimum 2 years of acute care, med/surg, or telemetry RN experience required
    • Flu vaccine required — no exemptions
    • Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
