Description

Responsibilities:

Must have experience with data warehousing, BI, PowerBI, Tableau, BI Reporting, Analytics, big data, data visualization, Qlik Sense, SQL, and dimensional modeling.

Preferably prior web development and other programming experience.


Requirements:
Strong knowledge of industry standard Data Infrastructure (e.g. Warehouse, BI, Analytics, Big-Data, etc.) tools with the goal of providing end users with analytics at the speed of thought.
Expert at developing, architecting, standardizing and supporting technology platforms using Industry leading BI / Reporting solutions.

Expert at interacting directly with end users and becoming a subject matter expert in order to architect and design our solutions and drive insights using your strong data visualization experience.

Excellent communication skills
5+ years of database expertise. Advanced SQL capabilities and dimensional modeling knowledge are required. Experience working with extremely large data volumes is a plus.
2+ years of development experience with QlikSense
Strong data reporting and visualization experience with the ability to tell a story using data and drive analytic solutions
Demonstrated experience and ability to work with business users to gather requirements and manage scope
BA, BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field
Experience with a wide variety of BI tools
Experience in the creation of Extension objects using Qlik Capability APIs and QLIK Engine API.
Understanding of data warehousing methodologies
Prior web development experience using languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AngularJS,
Experience working in a big data environment
Programming experience is a big plus including Java, C++, Python, ksh
