    Description
    Quality Correctional Care is looking for a Licensed Nurse to join our team. This person is responsible for assisting physicians while providing treatment to patients with a variety of medical conditions. He/she will administer medication, monitor and record patient progress, and educate families and the patient as needed.

    Nurse's Purpose:

    This position is designed to provide necessary support to other team members with the common goal of providing excellent patient care and service to our clients.

    RN Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:
    Seeing patients for medical complaints, both acute and chronic
    Performing 14-day physicals on all patients
    Managing their chronic medical conditions by monitoring labs and medication efficiency
    Working with the dentist to ensure that our patients oral care is addressed
    Responding to medical emergencies
    Working hand in hand with physicians, PA's, NP's and correctional staff who all have the same goal of optimal patient care

    Location:
    Clay County Correctional Facility

    Shift Openings:
    Full-Time 9AM-9PM Rotating Weekends 36 hours per week

    Requirements:
    Valid RN licensure
    A minimum of six months of recent medical experience
    Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
    Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
    Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
