    Description

    About this role:

    Wells Fargo is looking for a Counsel to join their Employment Counseling & Litigation team within the Wells Fargo Legal Department. The selected individual will be part of a group of attorneys handling various legal issues related to employment, including managing claims, litigation, and relationships with outside counsel. Responsibilities include providing advice and training on risk management, developing policies and contracts, and working on reports and projects as needed.

    In this role, you will:

    • Participate in initiatives and identify process improvement opportunities
    • Handle complex litigation, negotiations, and legal matters
    • Offer guidance to internal clients
    • Analyze and address assignments that require research and independent judgment
    • Manage complex claims and litigation
    • Support more experienced counsel on complex matters
    • Present recommendations and exercise independent judgment
    • Provide leadership and direction for specific functions
    • Advise on policy and regulatory changes
    • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders
    • Develop and implement risk management programs with business leaders


    Required Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of Law experience
    • Active State Bar membership


    Desired Qualifications:

    • Extensive experience with employment laws and regulations
    • Experience in employment law litigation and agency processes
    • Ability to analyze and provide advice on complex legal matters
    • In-house legal experience
    • Experience with handling employment claims and arbitration
    • Strong attention to detail and communication skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a complex environment
    • Effective in building partnerships and working in teams

    Job Expectations:

    • Onsite presence required
    • No Visa sponsorship available
    • No relocation assistance

    Pay Range:

    $96,600.00 - $188,900.00
