The Department of Public Works is seeking a Truck String – Highway Supervisor to lead critical highway maintenance and infrastructure operations that directly impact public safety and mobility.
This position requires strong technical knowledge, commitment to safety, passion for public service leadership skills for coordinating daily activities meet deadlines manage budgets supervise staff collaborate with County departments municipalities contractors vendors coordinate projects develop schedules review data inspect work recommend changes maintain quality standards ensure compliance with regulations policies procedures industry best practices customer service skills effectively communicate work independently team environment safety protocols hazardous materials situations personnel stress communications high traffic environments emergency responses disaster recovery snow removal natural disasters etc.
