- Patient Volume: 15 to 20 per day

- Admit children and adolescents to the hospital when they require inpatient care.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients, reviewing their medical history, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests to make accurate diagnoses and create treatment plans.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric medical conditions, including infectious diseases, respiratory illnesses, gastrointestinal disorders, surgical conditions, and more.
- Make daily rounds on hospitalized patients to assess their progress, update treatment plans, and ensure continuity of care.
- Perform various procedures, including lumbar punctures, central line placements, and intubations, when necessary to manage and treat pediatric patients.
- Communicate with patients' families to provide updates on their child's condition, explain treatment plans, and address any questions or concerns.
- Work on discharge plans and ensure that patients are stable and safe for discharge, and that appropriate follow-up care is arranged for continued recovery.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the hospital to enhance patient care and safety.
- Perform other duties, as needed.
- Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey
- Board Eligible / Certified
- PALS certification
- Experience working with the Pediatric population
