    Perky Beans Coffee & PB Cafe in Leander, TX is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Coffee Shop Barista Shift Lead to provide stellar customer service and ensure that our operations run smoothly.

    ABOUT PERKY BEANS COFFEE & PB CAFE

    From our humble beginnings as a mobile coffee truck on the streets of San Diego in 2013, Perky Beans Coffee has grown up and laid down roots in Leander, Texas. We are family-owned and operated, and since 2021, we've offered two concepts under one roof. Perky Beans Coffee is our complete coffeehouse with a drive-thru, offering a variety of delicious beverages as well as quick bites. Located right next door is PB Cafe, where our customers can sit down and order all the breakfast classics as well as items from our tasty lunch menu.

    Our mission is to serve delectable recipes with quality ingredients that keep our customers coming back. We are passionate about food and customer service. Additionally, we strive to be a partner with the community and support many local schools and non-profits in the Leander and Liberty Hill areas.

    YOUR DAY AS A COFFEE SHOP BARISTA SHIFT LEAD

    As a Coffee Shop Barista Shift Lead, you have the important job of setting a shining example of customer service for both our customers and your team. Each shift, you tackle a variety of tasks to ensure that everything runs smoothly in our restaurant. Closely following our recipes, you prepare delicious drinks, smoothies, and teas as well as do some light food prep. You also enter customer orders into our point-of-sale system and maintain a balanced cash drawer. While you're at it, you maintain great relationships with our customers, many of whom make us a daily stop

    As part of your duties, you train new hires, teach our staff how to prioritize and be self-sufficient, and schedule employees to make sure shifts are adequately covered. Maintaining quality standards is also crucial, so you keep a close eye out to ensure that we are in constant compliance with company policies and food service regulations. You check over product deliveries, oversee inventory and purchasing, hold the keys while on shift, and act as a go-to for any issues that arise. In short, you are vital to our operations, and you thrive in the fast pace of your job. Leading your team in providing the best service around makes you feel great

    WHAT WE NEED IN A COFFEE SHOP BARISTA SHIFT LEAD
    • 1 year of previous experience as a lead required
    • Six months + of leadership experience, preferably in a coffee house, high-volume restaurant, or drive-thru environment
    • Full availability that includes mornings, mid-days, evenings, and weekend availability
    • Current Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification
    • 18+ years old
    YOUR HOURS AS A COFFEE HOUSE BARISTA SHIFT LEAD

    This food service position can be part-time or full-time and has a flexible schedule.
