Role : AWS Lead Consultant with experience in Cloud and DevOps

Location : Boston, MA

Full Time

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.
Experience in migration and transformation of On-prem applications to Cloud, with involvement from proposal, strategy to execution, across Infrastructure and Applications
Experience in AWS Cloud Technologies including DevOps, Infrastructure, Security, Performance Engineering.
Experience in Application Deployment on cloud with Hands on experience of cloud services
Experience in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) set up on cloud – Terraform, Knowledge of CloudFormation
Experience in DevOps set up on cloud - AWS Code Pipeline, CI-CD Pipeline, Docker, Kubernetes /EKS and Monitoring tools, SRE (Site-reliability Engineering)
Software engineering experience in AWS services., GIT and GIT workflows. Cloud infrastructure, PAAS , IAAS, IAC, Power shell

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cloud migration as well development of applications on Java, Spring, Microservices, UI, Messaging Integration and Database technologies, distributed and web-based applications.
Knowledge of Ansible and/or Chef/Puppet
Ability and readiness to operate both at hands-on level on the full cycle from strategy to development and execution.
Detail oriented, excellent communication and organizational skills, negotiation skills, leadership skills
At least 4 years of experience in basic UNIX / AIX / Linux, Unix Shell scripting.
At least 4 years of experience in Spring, GIT, JIRA/Confluence, CI Tools, API Gateways
Good knowledge of Splunk, AppDynamics, Git, Nexus and their integration with Cloud platform
Experience in Global Delivery of IT projects of varies types, and execution in Agile as well as Waterfall methodologies.
Experience in making proposals to clients to address their business needs specifically related to transformation ion Cloud.
Ability to manage end to end program delivery and multiple priorities for concurrent projects effectively, servicing as single point of contact with clients for large programs. projects.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Proficient creating and presenting status briefings to senior management.
