- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and diagnostic evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform various gastroenterology procedures in the outpatient setting
- Provide patient education regarding gastrointestinal health, disease prevention, and management strategies.
- Document patient encounters accurately and maintain thorough medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients. Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current New York State licensure or ability to obtain.
- Proficiency in Spanish is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to work a schedule of five 8-hour day shifts per week, including one weekend day. Benefits:
