- Assist with the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates as needed to support waterfront infrastructure repair and rehabilitation work
- Help resolve design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, detailed design work, and detailed checking of design computations done by others, or general coordination of specific design aspects into a project
- Perform construction inspections above water and topside, confirming repair progress aligns with construction documents. Clearly communicate findings with contractor on-site and in-office via construction inspection letter reports
- Calculate construction quantity estimates
- Perform analysis, design, asset management, and inspection of waterfront structures, and other maritime projects
- Structural analysis and design with timber, steel, concrete and composite materials
- Develop plans, specifications, and calculations as needed
- Work closely with other disciplines including architects, engineers, scientists, project managers, etc. on multi-discipline projects
- Assist with the preparation of inspection reports
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Availability to commence employment no later than the beginning of summer 2026
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Entry to 4 years of field, construction, or design experience (waterfront preferred)
- Entry level candidates must have qualifying internship experience
- Engineer-In-Training (EIT) required within 6 months of hire
- Preferred experience using:
- SAP2000
- AutoCAD
- STAAD
- LPile
- Valid driver's license in good standing and personal transportation required
- Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Selected candidate must consent to and pass a post-offer/pre-employment drug screening

Qualifications:

Base salary range:
