Our greater Los Angeles based client is committed to the identification and development of effective treatment options for patients suffering from Lymphoma.
This individual will partner with the CMO, leading business development projects from search and evaluation through to negotiation and execution, while contributing scientific and business insights to support our overall strategy.
ResponsibilitiesDeliver on the BD strategy, building a strong funnel of opportunities, including but not limited to research partnerships, biotech investments and strategic collaborationsIdentify, assess, and execute creative and varied deals with potential partners including pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, foundations, etcDevelop, implement, and execute operational roadmaps to deliver on the business development strategyManage robust due diligences for internal pipeline programs, supporting portfolio management and driving ROIAct as the lead on competitive market intelligence, providing timely, compelling, and actionable insights covering the field of AI-driven drug development, and the competitive landscape of our internal pipeline programsQualifications/ExperiencePh.
D., M.D., and/or MBA preferred5+ yrs experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry in a business development roleStrong understanding of drug discovery/development and the key value drivers and barriers to successDepth of knowledge covering different therapeutic modalities and the pharma industryDemonstrated ability to identify, evaluate, structure, negotiate, and execute deals with biotech, pharma companies, and academic institutionsAbility to inject energy into a deal process, providing leadership and driving towards a successful conclusionExceptional analytical skills and ability to distil complex and imperfect information into clear and compelling recommendations#J-18808-Ljbffr
