Estimator - Fire and Water Restoration

Our Estimator is responsible for estimating and selling reconstruction services in the fire and water restoration industry.

We strive to acquire talent that is motivated, goal-oriented, organized, and customer-focused. Someone who has great communication skills and a passion for delivering at the highest levels of quality.

This is a salary plus commission position. The salary will be determined based on the amount of previous experience and knowledge of the industry.


Responsibilities:
Inspect the site to determine the scope of work

Prepare the estimate in Xactimate

Build and maintain relationships with clients, adjusters, and property managers

Document activities and communication in company software/systems (MS Outlook, Xactimate, Dash, and Encircle)

Communicate regularly and effectively with clients, employees, and subcontractors

Be persuasive in communicating the solution and its value


Qualifications:
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines

Have a working knowledge of applicable building codes

Strong computer skills are a

must

2 plus years experience in Construction and/or-Restoration estimating

Excellent communication skills; both oral and written

Provide superior customer-client experience

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Ability to negotiate subcontractor's pricing/cost

Must be able to be on-call after hours for emergency calls on a rotational basis

Experience with Xactimate and DASH is preferred
