- Greeting and assessing patient's health upon arrival and prior to their infusion appointment.
- Insertions and discontinuation of peripheral intravenous catheters.
- Mixing/monitoring of medications, administering premeds and medications in response to changes in patient's conditions.
- Scheduling follow up appointments.
- Documentation of patient visits.
- Assisting with drug inventory management.
- You have an RN Degree
- You have an Active - State Nursing License
- You have 2 years' experience working in a healthcare facility
- You have 6 months experience inserting IV's
- You have 6 months experience with infusions, rheumatology preferred
- You connect well with others and are comfortable talking to people.
- You are familiar with NextGen EMT System or another EMR.
- You have a knowledge CTP & ICD-10 coding practices.
