    The Position:

    You will be responsible for providing nursing care to patients in a professional and courteous manner. Additionally, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services for patients under the direction of the manager/provider.The individual must be enthusiastic about patient care and have the ability to handle varied personalities and personal situations.

    As an Infusion RN, a typical day might look like:

    • Greeting and assessing patient's health upon arrival and prior to their infusion appointment.
    • Insertions and discontinuation of peripheral intravenous catheters.
    • Mixing/monitoring of medications, administering premeds and medications in response to changes in patient's conditions.
    • Scheduling follow up appointments.
    • Documentation of patient visits.
    • Assisting with drug inventory management.
    This job might be for you if:
    • You have an RN Degree
    • You have an Active - State Nursing License
    • You have 2 years' experience working in a healthcare facility
    • You have 6 months experience inserting IV's
    • You have 6 months experience with infusions, rheumatology preferred
    • You connect well with others and are comfortable talking to people.
    • You are familiar with NextGen EMT System or another EMR.
    • You have a knowledge CTP & ICD-10 coding practices.
