- Assist physicians with 15 – 20 patients daily with outpatient clinic visits. Four days per week.
- Follow up with patients with CKD or other kidney issues, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), acute kidney injury (AKI), anemia, and CKD-related bone mineral disorders.
- Work in collaboration with physicians and other health professionals.
- Working to develop a team-based approach with other NP/PAs in the CKD Clinic.
- Serve as a clinical resource, utilizing critical thinking skills to act as an interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate.
- Shift varies as clinic is held during regular clinic hours (8am – 5pm).
- Primarily focused on outpatient clinic but may occasionally work with the PAs that are working in the Dialysis Units.
- ACLS and CPR certified
- Should possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team oriented
- Interest in preventative/early kidney disease stage intervention a plus
- Eligibility to work in the United States
