Alera Group is looking for a Claims Advocate. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you

We are passionate about our clients' success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. With a network of offices nationwide, our commitment to collaboration allows us to offer national resources combined with local service.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage end‑to‑end claims handling for client accounts, including intake, consultation, documentation, reporting, and preparation of client claims reviews
  • Partner with insurance carriers and adjusters to investigate, monitor, and resolve complex property, general liability, automobile, and workers' compensation claims, following established tracking and payment processes
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience through professional, timely, and empathetic communication while building and maintaining long‑term client relationships
  • Proactively address client concerns, coordinate with internal teams as needed, and escalate issues appropriately to ensure timely resolution and manager awareness

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of industry‑related experience; P&C license required (or equivalent claims licensing)
  • Strong working knowledge of insurance laws, claims practices, and insurance systems; Applied Epic experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to manage documentation, reporting, and client communications effectively
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, carriers, and vendors; role operates in a professional office environment under the agency's hybrid work model

Additional Information:

This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

Salary range is $100K to 125K per year.
