Job Summary
Assists patients in mobility and positioning activities of daily living and basic care acute care hospital units.
Responsibilities
- Provide mobility opportunities for medical surgical patients following nursing assessment.
- Take and record vital signs as appropriate for patient population.
- Provide clear effective patient education on importance of mobility vertical positioning progressing from in to out of bed fall prevention.
