    Description

    Commercial Sewing Operator

    This role is based in a clean and environmentally-controlled indoor production area where the individual works on serging, sewing, and inspecting items to produce high-quality products. The person will be responsible for reading industrial drawings/blueprints accurately.

    The job involves preparing materials to be sewn, inspecting them for flaws, cutting patterns as needed, setting up sewing machines with proper stitch length and tension. It also includes sewing parts together using various techniques such as topstitching and finishing touches. Additionally, the individual will complete all documentation, quality checks, and inspections of finished products.

    • Preparing materials: Inspecting leather/vinyl/fabric/carpet for flaws & fixing them if possible;
    • Cutting patterns from specified material;
    • Putting patterns with respective foam;
    • OBTAINING thread/Velcro/zippers/accessories needed to sew product;
    • SERGING machine setup with proper stitch length/tension;?>
