    My client in the Triad area has a Direct hire Opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Engineering Supervisor

    The Regulatory Compliance Engineering Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the Flammability and Durability testing labs, while developing testing protocols that ensure products meet or exceed industry standards. This position is responsible for testing products to ensure products are compliant with both state and Federal test standards. The position oversees data acquisition systems, lab accreditation, and product certification.

    • $90,000 - $100,000/year DOE
    • M-F, 8:00am-4:30pm
    • In-office in Trinity, NC

    Responsibilities

    • Direct reporting responsibility for Flammability and Durability Lab Technicians
    • Develops and maintains appropriate database processes and documentation to efficiently manage the testing laboratory records and procedures
    • Ensures all testing SOPs meet regulatory and industry requirements
    • Initiates build and test requests to production facilities; Receives and inventories test samples in preparation for testing
    • Develop appropriate testing methods and procedures that define the critical raw material physical properties that determine product performance resulting in meaningful specifications
    • Schedules and documents external calibrations of test equipment

    Requirements

    • BS Engineering or Science in a Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Material Testing or similar field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical or testing environment
    • Must have familiarity with data acquisitions systems and electromechanical interfaces
    • Must have experience with instrumentation and equipment calibration
    • Capability to accurately and efficiently work on multiple projects within strict deadlines
    • Prior experience with ISO-17025 audits BIG PLUS
