    Job Responsibilities

    • Proactively monitor and investigate production anomalies in photolithography, photochemical etching, and material cleaning processes to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact efficiency, quality, or safety.
    • Actively participate in and lead the setup, sampling, and validation of new etching production equipment and processes.
    • Calibrate existing manufacturing equipment and processes to ensure consistent performance and product quality.
    • Document procedures, work instructions, and risk management plans for etching processes, adhering to PFMEA, Control Charts, PPAP documentation, and APQP guidelines.
    • Continuously improve existing production programs to minimize equipment downtime, maximize productivity, and enhance quality using problem-solving tools like 8D, A3, PDCA, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams.
    • Identify and recommend production equipment, assisting in supplier selection to optimize process efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and streamline processes.
    • Partner with customers to design and dimension etched products for optimal functionality and manufacturability.
    • Develop tooling and processes to enhance production throughput, including feeding or guiding elements, material handling equipment, and production support equipment components.
    • Assist production personnel in setting up and debugging new applications and resolving etching production issues.
    • Two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Basic understanding of wet chemistry and analytics techniques such as titrations, density, oxidation-reduction potential, and chemical compatibilities.
    • CAD (computer-aided design) experience preferred.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
    • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

    The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $ $53.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
