    Essential Job Functions:
    Maintains accurate surgical records for surgeons as outlined in company standards and guidelines.

    Maintain communication with Surgical Vision Coordinators, MEC Surgeons and their teams, ASC and Hospital staff and properly document all procedures performed outside of MEC by our surgeons.

    Maintains 5% or less error rate on chart documentation and scanning.

    Adheres to the Protocol "Adding and retrieving surgical items from EMA"Advises supervisor of any changes or discrepancies in the protocol "Adding and retrieving surgical items from EMA"Submit completed daily work log including all cases scheduled that day with a printout of procedures documented in the Electronic Health Record for MEC.

    Maintains 5% or less error rate.
    Properly manage time to stay within required 40 hours, unless practice needs dictate otherwise and/or overtime requested by supervisor/director.
    Cross train with co-workers to prepare for time off and provide coverage for team mates.
    Maintain patient confidentialityAttends required meetings.

    Ability to speak, understand and write fluent EnglishKnowledge of correct grammar, spelling and punctuationProficiency in alphabetizing and spellingAbility to write legiblyAbility to calculate mathematical formulas.

    Reviews appropriate reports on a regular basis as outlined in company standards and guidelines.
