    What You'll Do:

    As a Risk Manager and Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the health, comfort, and overall well-being of our residents. Your responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, developing and implementing care plans, analyzing risk management, implementing quality performance improvement strategies and collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Reviews documentation and clinical processes to assess the appropriate care plan and utilization of services and to ensure complete documentation of needed services provided by staff.
    2. Participates in quality improvement program in accordance with State of Connecticut Regulations.
    3. Will participate in quarterly audits as required
    4. Assists with staff development, orientation, inservices and lap top training
    5. Instructs staff on infection, incident and compliant process and reporting and other mandatory training
    6. Identifying patterns and trends.
    7. Assures that compliance with state quality regulations are meet
    8. May attend community meetings as directed.
    9. Keeps abreast of all current quality and educational compliance issues as regulated by the State of Connecticut
    10. Sets up and attend QUAPi meetings
    11. Will perform other duties as assigned

    Rate of Pay:
    USD $105, USD $110,000.00 /Yr.

    What You'll Bring:

    Qualifications of a Registered Nurse include:

    • Valid RN license in the state of New York
    • 3+ years of LTC experience
    • Proven success implementing performance improvement initiatives
    • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
    • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
    • Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
