    MMI Industrial & Steel is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator/Office Supervisor to join our team in Mesa, Arizona.

    The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of human resources experience and be bilingual in Spanish and English.

    This role is responsible for overseeing administrative functions, acting as a liaison with our contracted human resources manager, Bambee HR, and ensuring that Bambee's software is utilized correctly by all MMI supervisors.


    Pay range:
    $ 48,083 - $57,700 depending on experience
    Role and Responsibilities

    Supervisory Responsibility:


    Lead and manage the front desk and reception area staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for visitors and employees.

    Provide guidance and direction to administrative staff to optimize their performance and efficiency.
    Develop and maintain administrative procedures to streamline daily operations.

    Liaison with Bambee HR:
    Act as the primary point of contact between MMI and Bambee HR, our contracted human resources manager.
    Collaborate with Bambee HR to ensure compliance with HR policies and practices.
    Facilitate effective communication and reporting between MMI and Bambee HR to support HR initiatives.

    Bambee Software Utilization:


    Ensure that MMI supervisors understand and correctly use Bambee's HR software for tasks such as time tracking, benefits administration, and employee records management.

    Provide training and support to supervisors and employees to maximize the benefits of the HR software.
    Collaborate with Bambee HR to identify areas for software improvement or customization based on MMI's specific needs.

    HR Administration:
    Oversee the creation and maintenance of employee records, including personnel files and benefits documentation.
    Assist in the recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring all required documentation is completed and filed.
    Handle sensitive HR-related matters with discretion and confidentiality.
    Effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking employees and assist in translating HR materials as necessary.
    Act as a bridge between English and Spanish-speaking employees to facilitate clear communication.
    Qualifications and Experience
    Minimum of 3 years of human resources experience.
    Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken) is required.
    Knowledge of HR software and systems, with the ability to train others.
    Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
