RUNNER - GENERAL SUMMARY

Runner will run/serve food, beverages, and/or desserts to guests ordering from the theater, bar, mobile app or concessions. He/she will be expected to interact with guests, fellow staff members, and supervisors in a polite, courteous and hospitable manner to ensure all guests have a superior dining experience. Runner verifies the order with the guest and ensures that the guest is satisfied before returning to the kitchen.

RUNNER - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Prepare trays or bags with guests' orders /drinks
   1. Runner collects the food and/or drinks from the kitchen or service bar or concession service and checks ticket to ensure order is complete.
   2. Prepares the food and/or drinks on either trays, bags (or on a cart) depends on either legacy /dine in; Arranges the food or drinks by ticket before going into the theaters.
   3. Using cart or tray(s) the runner takes food /drinks into the theater quietly and places items on a tray jack if using trays.
   4. Ensures tray and/or carts are kept clean and free of food debris.
2. Serve the items to the guests at the theater
   1. Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner when serving the order
   2. Verify that the order is correct and ensures that it is delivered to the correct guest
   3. Pleasant greetings at all times: smile when you greet guests and always say "Thank you" and "enjoy your movie" or "your experience."
   4. Check that the guest has all items and inquire if they need anything else (condiments, refill, etc); If possible, handle the guest request such as retrieve condiment from the side station/mobile area in theater, or find the server (dine in) to return to the guest.
3. Restock and maintain the area clean and tidy for next shift /day
   1. Restock and prepare bags for future orders, condiments, utensils, napkins, wet naps (if legacy theater).
   2. Restock and prepare sauces and condiments for future shifts or next day.
   3. Ensure closing check list items are complete and all is re-stocked for the next shift/day.
   4. Maintain runner or expo area clean such as sweeping floors, popcorn machine, and as assigned by the MOD.
   5. Clean, bus and reset tables and chairs in the dining area.

RUNNER - EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or GED, preferred
• Some experience preferred but not required
• Sense of urgency and fast /speedy
• Attention to detail
• Friendly and warm demeanor
• Smiles and makes eye contact
• Adequate self-awareness
• Good communications skills
• Passion for the movies
• Knowledge food and beverage menu
• Customer Service skills

RUNNER - CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

• Food Handler and/or ServSafe certification or must attain within 30 days

RUNNER - PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to walk quickly in large and expansive areas (Speed of Service)
• Required to walk quickly, stand, stoop, bend, reach for up to 8 hours .
• Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry and wipe.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must wear slip resistant shoes to avoid slips and falls
• Good manual dexterity and coordinated
• High volume requiring physically demanding role
