Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

• Float to different medical-surgical units throughout the hospital including MS units, Surgical Surge Unit, 3W Cardiac Tele, and ED Holding

• Patient ratios: Days 1:5, Nights 1:6

• Weekend rotation every other weekend

• Holiday expectation every other holiday based on start date

• 6-week scheduling provided 1-2 weeks in advance

• No on-call requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• First-time travelers accepted

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH

• Telemetry experience required

• Skills needed: cardiac rhythm interpretation, drain management, NGT placement and management, central line management, CBI, dressing changes, wound care, wound vac

• Care for various patient types including general surgical, cardiac neuro, oncology, orthopedic, and cardiac telemetry patients

• Float within scope of practice - when floating to ICUs will serve as helping hands, taskers, runners without patient assignments or medication administration

• Use EPIC charting system, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis medication dispensing

• Any color scrubs allowed (no camo/denim/logos)

This healthcare facility is a 167-bed medical center that serves as a Level III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with a Level II NICU. The facility offers comprehensive medical services across multiple specialized units including medical-surgical floors, cardiac telemetry, oncology, orthopedic, and surgical services. The organization maintains 24/7 hospitalist coverage, respiratory therapy services, and centralized telemetry monitoring with dedicated technicians to support patient care.
