    POSITION SUMMARY:


    The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible for developing and executing Human Resources (HR) strategy in support of the overall business plan.

    This position advises the management team of industry trends and legislative changes affecting HR policies and procedures.

    The Human Resources Business Partner ensures the overall success of the organization by overseeing the Human Resources, Staffing, Safety and HQ Office Administration functions of the business on a national level.


    ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Create and execute strategies to develop, validate, and implement assessment tools, standards, policies and practices
    Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning as new locations open throughout the US
    Implements Human Resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, ADA/EEO compliance, and labor relations
    Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable federal, state, local requirements related to employee benefits, compensation, employment and training; conducts investigations, maintaining records and representing the organization at hearings and possesses detailed understanding of current labor laws and OSHA regulations
    Remain current with changes in Human Resource and employment law and manages Company relationships with state and local regulatory agencies
    Serve as a resource on all employment law and compliance issues to Managers and Supervisors
    Demonstrate a strong understanding of Company policy, culture and values, and make recommendations to help resolve complex and unique employment related issues and support necessary course of action between managers and employees to drive positive outcomes
    Develops and administers leadership training programs for Managers and Supervisors
    Partner with Managers on complex performance matters and monitor progress; coach Managers and employees through corrective action and disciplinary actions
    Actively supports and promotes the "Open Door Policy" ensuring an avenue for all voices to be heard

    Address employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other employee concerns
    Project and ensure staffing needs are met Companywide in accordance with organizational growth
    Travel to various branches and offsite locations to ensure remote sites feel supported
    Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
    Perform other duties as assigned


    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Education & Certifications:
    Bachelor's degree in business management or human resources, desired
    High School Graduate or GED


    Experience:
    Minimum of 7 years' experience in a Human Resources Generalist role
    3 years management experience


    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    Must be Bilingual:
    English-Spanish

    Excellent oral and written communication skills
    Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees
    Proven record of accomplishment in safety excellence
    Demonstrated high level of integrity and ethical behavior
    Demonstrate a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion
    Demonstrated ability to perform at a high level in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
    Good organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail

    Proficient in Microsoft Word, MS Outlook, Excel and related software programs


    Special Skills & Training:
    Strong problem-solving skills and sound business judgment to address current and future Human Resources development
    Strong negotiating skills and ability to influence
    Thorough understanding of Federal and State labor and employment laws
