    Job Description:

    Software Developer Engineer – Testing (SDET)

    The successful candidate will be an expert in designing scalable and maintainable test automation. This individual will collaborate closely with developers to grasp the application's architecture and create reliable, maintainable automated tests.

    The candidate should have a strong commitment to quality and contribute to fostering a culture of high quality within the scrum team(s).

    Essential Functions

    • Be a hands-on Test Automation engineer with a DevOps approach in an Agile setting.
    • Understand and execute automation strategies for web services, APIs, middleware, and UI.
    • Ensure that automation remains current, adaptable, and compatible with continuous integration/deployment.
    • Develop procedures for creating automation test data and data refresh capabilities.
    • Support developers with CI/CD automation.
    • Collaborate with Product Owner, Scrum Master, Business Systems Analyst (BSA), and Developers to incorporate test automation and CI/CD practices.
    • Manage automation code using source control, test management, and release systems.
    • Maintain test case repositories and results at sprint and release levels using JIRA.
    • Manage test automation code and scripts using BitBucket.
    • Design and establish a continuous testing pipeline using Bamboo for regression and smoke testing.
    • Facilitate the scrum team to adopt BDD methodology using Gherkin/Ruby/Cucumber.
    • Operate in an Agile and DevOps environment to ensure consistent quality sprint after sprint, release after release.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Lead SDET
    • 6+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
    • 6+ years of experience in Test Automation in an Agile environment
    • Sr. SDET
    • 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
    • 4+ years of experience in Test Automation in an Agile environment
