    Russell Collision Center is seeking an experienced Body Technician to fill this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Review repair orders to understand necessary repairs.
    • Inspect damaged vehicles and plan efficient repair processes.
    • Verify parts accuracy, perform accurate teardowns for estimates, assist estimators with supplements, and store all parts safely.
    • Maintain body and frame according to manufacturer procedures and Russell's operating guidelines, complete quality control checks, verify color matches before assembly, and review final repair orders to ensure all repairs were completed as listed.
    • Operate collision center equipment safely.
    • Maintain work areas in an orderly and clean manner.
    • Perform structural repairs.
    • Document work completed promptly.
    • Use basic math skills to solve simple equations for mixing chemicals.
    • Familiarize yourself with federal, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.

    Requirements:

    • Candidates should have several years of experience as a Body Shop Technician.
    • I-Car experience is preferred; however, we will provide additional I-Car training to maintain our Gold Class status.
    • Vocational or auto tech training is preferred.
    • Minimum age requirement is 17 years, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
