- Must be a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited college approved by the Council of Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or Doctor of Osteopathy from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association
- Must have and maintain a current, active, valid, unrestricted license in one of the 50 states in the U.S
- Radiologist shall have been continuously employed in the practice of diagnostic radiology or in training for 2 years
- Have and maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
- Moderate and heavy physical exertion on a regular basis
- Review and interpret special procedures
- Provide advise and opinions upon request by the Chief of Radiology
- Interpret all routine studies and submit a written report
- Accomplish fluoroscopic exams and special procedures on the daily schedule established at the direction of the Chief, Department of Radiology
- Prepare all records and reports as may be required in support of services rendered and as required by the MTF Standing Operating Procedures, Federal law or Army regulation
- Take part in hospital Quality Assurance Programs as required to meet the standards of the Joint Commission
- Attend and participate in patient care reports, patient care conferences, team conferences, professional staff conferences, and other appropriate professional activities only to the extent that such attendance and participation is relative to his/her assigned cases and/or performance of contract services as determined by the Chief of the Department or other designated representative
