- Receive, unload and organize product incoming to the warehouse
- Assist in organizing and managing the inventory in the warehouse to facilitate smooth delivery operations
- Safely load cabinets onto the delivery vehicle and ensure their secure placement to prevent damage during transit
- Drive delivery team to multiple construction work sites and oversee delivery of cabinet products for installation.
- Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and fuel consumption while meeting delivery deadlines
- Ensures accuracy of product, delivery location and timeliness
- Interact professionally with customers during delivery, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns or inquiries
- Comply with all traffic and safety regulations to ensure safe and accident-free deliveries.
- Regularly inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues promptly to the appropriate personnel.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding delivery protocols and warehouse operations
- Perform cleaning and organization duties in the warehouse, following schedule and as needed.
- Assist with staging new and existing materials in showroom, as needed
- Arrive to work on time each day ensuring consistent punctuality and attendance
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably in the cabinet or furniture industry is a plus.
- Must be able to use moving and cleaning equipment to include box truck, hand truck, pallet jack, broom, mop, ladder, etc.
- Certified Safe Lifting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must be reliable and act with integrity and professionalism whether in the warehouse or at job sites.
- Ability to adapt to changing delivery schedules and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must have the ability to drive, possess a valid Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record
- Prolonged periods of standing, driving/riding in a truck, lifting, loading, unloading and maneuvering heavy cabinets and other building materials
- Work will be performed in a Warehouse or Construction site setting that may include being inside, outside and with a variety of weather and temperature conditions.
- Must be able to lift a minimum 75 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
- Job will generally work 6:00 am to 2:00 pm, but may vary depending on business needs
- Must have reliable transportation to ensure you are able to get to and from work each day on time.
- Pay: $23 per hour
