Looking for the next step in your sales career? Join the Penguin Young Readers sales team

We are currently seeking a Sales Associate to serve as the main point of contact for selling Penguin Young Readers Group front- and backlist titles and products to eBook accounts including Apple, Google, and Kobo. While working closely with external customers and internal colleagues, the Sales Associate will be responsible for driving sales and increasing overall eBook market share for Penguin Young Readers Group.

Additional responsibilities include:

Working closely with National Account Manager on the daily management of Amazon.
Creating quarterly and annual business reviews for all eBook accounts and seasonal product presentations for eBook accounts and Amazon.
Communicating with sales management regarding account activities and preparing weekly sales reports for accounts.
Running and analyzing a variety of regular and ad hoc sales reports in an effort to create strategies to maximize sales within accounts.
Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of competitor, consumer, and industry trends.

Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, ideally including one year working with digital accounts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including superb presentation skills
Proven ability to effectively communicate with employees across all levels within an organization
Proactive with strong follow-up skills
Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities at one time
Strong analytical skills and a comfort working with numbers
Highly effective problem solving skills, including the ability to remain calm under pressure and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Comfort working within account specific portals and sales data systems
