    Position Summary: Our Servers create a great dining experience for our guests by greeting them and presenting them with a menu and explaining specials, providing information to help them make their food and beverage selections, taking their orders correctly and being attentive to their needs throughout the meal.

    Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

    • Welcome guests and help them select food and beverages by presenting menu, offering cocktails or other beverages, explaining menu items and answering preparation and ingredient questions
    • Learn the wine and cocktail list and describe them for our guests. Stay up-to-date on any changes
    • Transmit orders to the bar and kitchen correctly
    • Serve orders by picking up and delivering quickly, including condiments and other accompaniments as needed
    • Respond to any additional requests, refill beverages, be alert to guest's spills or other special needs throughout the meal
    • Upsell bottled water, desserts, after dinner drinks
    • Maintain professional restaurant image, including superior sanitation and cleanliness controls
    • Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed
    • Issue bill, accept payment, return change or credit card and signature slip to guests
    • Work with a diverse set of co-workers as a cohesive team
    • Attend all mandatory in-house trainings including Alcohol Service and Harassment
    • Follow cash handling and payment procedures

    • Proficiency in the following restaurant functions: sequence of service, alcohol service and drink preparation, sanitation, company policies and procedures
    • Ability to contribute to a positive team environment
    • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
    • Exceptional listening and communication skills, including the skills necessary to deal tactfully and professionally with guests, other employees and restaurant management
    • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use POS systems
    • Must have, and maintain, a New Mexico Alcohol Server permit and the New Mexico Food Handler permit
    • Ability to arrive on-time and work shifts as scheduled
    • Hours may vary and you must have flexible availability to work nights, weekends and holidays
    • Previous experience is a plus
