This department has full-time, part-time, and on-call openings and is hiring for both.Flexibility to match your scheduling needs along with an $8,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
The Radiology Technologist performs imaging examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated imaging equipment, taking into account individual patients unique and/or age-related needs.
Utilizes clinical knowledge and judgment in regard for proper positioning factors, radiation dose calibration of technique and patient treatment needed to produce optimal high-quality images.
Performs all examinations with minimal radiation exposure to patient and operator with ALARA awareness.
Competent in using specialized imaging equipment with all patient types; inpatient, outpatient, emergency, surgical suites and perform complex fluoroscopic procedures following sterile technique protocols.
