A global payments company are seeing a Senior Devops Engineer to join their growing team. You will be responsible for contributing to the evolution of their infrastructure at a crucial time of growth.

Responsibilities of the Senior DevOps Engineer:
Orchestrating the architecture, deployment, and maintenance of mission-critical production systems to maintain exceptional uptime.
Partnering with Software Development and Engineering teams to forge robust, production-ready services and applications.
Managing significant incidents from detection to resolution, conducting post-incident reviews, and implementing preventive measures.
Collaborating with teams to ensure comprehensive monitoring and metrics for performance and stability.
Developing tools and automation to streamline processes and expedite issue resolution across cloud and on-premises environments.
Demonstrating composure in high-pressure situations and mentoring team members while fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements of the Senior DevOps Engineer:8+ years of experience in software development and/or systems engineering.
A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in Linux and Windows operating systems.
Strong grasp of Networking, including Load balancers, DNS, and TCP/IP.
Familiarity with AWS technologies or equivalent cloud platforms (Google Cloud / Microsoft Azure).
Experience with containerization and orchestration, particularly Kubernetes.
Proficiency in Infrastructure Automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet/Foreman.
Knowledge of web servers such as Apache or NGINX.
Expertise in designing monitoring and alerting systems, with hands-on experience in monitoring tools like Nagios, New Relic, etc.
Solid scripting skills in Shell, Bash, Python, or other languages.
Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitHub or AzureDevOps.
Strong organizational and communication skills, coupled with a proactive learning attitude.

This is an onsite position near Kansas City, and the team are willing to help relocate exceptional candidates for the role.

They are offering $140,000 for the right candidate.
