The Security Manager oversees all security including staffing and scheduling for Providence Park in Portland OR and the Timbers Performance Center TPC in Beaverton OR This role ensures safety and security of both facilities by maintaining 24/7 security coverage and supervising the in-house event security teamResponsibilities
- Hire manage train deploy security personnel for Providence Park and TPC
- Participate maintain weekday day-shift presence at Providence Park while ensuring continuous facility security
- Develop implement staff training related to events building security to include Providence Park
& the Timbers Performance Center
Timbers Performance Center Coordinate with Senior Manager of Team Operations on scheduling
&security matters Administer access control systems oversee issuance fobs assigning biometric access final approval Director Security Oversee securiy-related upgrades repairs alarm systems Providence Park Manage access control systems inventory Determine staffing deployment all Timbers Thorns events collaborating Fan Experience private secuirty teams Schedule support setups gate screening road closures ingress egress planning Attend high percentage stadium events identified Director Security Oversee stadium command center credential systems during events Conduct risk assessments coordinate private secuirty law enforcement teams as needed Event Management Directly oversee provide safety securiy key events sporting concerts Develop submit overlook street closure parking plans PBOT Develop submit overlook guest bike storage plans Develp review schedules Allied Secuirity In-House Secuirity staff assign risk ratings determine travel requirements securiy staff Serve alternate teasm secuiiry liaison visiting supporting groups necessary Complete submitt All MLS securiy documentation reports Qualifications Excellent communication customer service skills Strong computer proficiency organizational ability Attention detail multitask Minimum years experience Willingness travel required We are equal opportunity employer qualified applicants will receive consideration employment regard race color religion national origin sex sexual orientation age disability gender identity marital veteran status protected classJob description
