    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for aiding project personnel in the implementation of the VDC Program Activities on their projects through pro-active training, support and stewardship.
    • Development and Enforcement of the Regional VDC Program- including planning support, organizational leadership, business development and innovation.
    • Support VDC implementation opportunities in the Marketing, Pursuit, Pre-construction, and Construction phases of a Project.
    • Participate in the Development and implementation of Regional and Corporate VDC Goals.
    • Facilitate meetings with cross functional stakeholders to garner consensus-building in team members.
    • Maintain an accurate and current database of VDC implementation costs, and track resources accordingly for each project within the Division.
    • Maintain, Evaluate and Report VDC Metrics to McCarthy partners.
    • Present VDC training at various Division training opportunities
    • Provide End-of-Project metric results and case studies.
    • Discuss VDC "lessons learned" and Verify/Confirm Concurrence.
    • Represent McCarthy in front of clients, support recruiting and attend outreach events.

    Qualifications

    • BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management &/or Architectural Engineering required, and/or 7-10 years of applicable experience.
    • Specific technical expertise with VDC systems is required. The VDC Manager will be expected to become an internal expert and resource on the Systems making up the construction of a building.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Demonstrated ability to facilitate meetings and ensure follow through in its discussions.
    • Process oriented, with ability to adapt to change, whether planned or unplanned.
    • Building construction sequencing
    • Implementation of Focused Initiatives.
    • Understanding of building design, construction and operations.
    • Understanding of CPM scheduling.
    • Understanding of Pre-construction services.
    • Enjoys training others, has continuous improvement mindset.
    • Team builder.
    • Good computer skills including proficiency in software programs (Autodesk Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
    • Some travel required.

    For California locations only, the salary range for this position is: $115,000 - $139,055. This does not include possible bonus and other benefits which can impact total compensation. Compensation offered may vary based on work location, experience, qualifications, specialty, training, and market and business considerations, among other factors.
