    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting evaluations to assess clients' physical, cognitive, emotional, and functional abilities. This involves gathering information about clients' medical history, daily routines, and goals.
    • Developing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals. These plans may include specific therapeutic activities, exercises, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications.
    • Implementing therapeutic interventions aimed at improving clients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs), such as dressing, bathing, eating, and homemaking tasks.
    • Engaging clients in purposeful activities designed to improve strength, coordination, balance, mobility, cognition, sensory processing, and other functional skills.
    • Teaching clients and their families or caregivers strategies to maximize independence and safety in daily activities. This may involve instruction in adaptive techniques, energy conservation, joint protection, and the use of assistive devices.
    • Recommending and providing training in the use of assistive devices, adaptive equipment, and environmental modifications to support clients' independence and participation

    Qualifications:

    • Education in occupational therapy from an accredited educational program.
    • Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of California.
    • Valid Driver's License.
    • Experience in Home health. Expertise in creating customized treatment plans.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
    • Proficient in conducting assessments and evaluating progress.
    • US Work Authorization

    Compensation:
    $110 - $150 hourly
