    EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE
    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Knowledge of student record cards.
    • Experience with MS Word and MS excel.
    • Demonstrates attention to detail.
    • Responds promptly to customer needs; responds to requests for service and assistance; meets commitments.
    • Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.
    • Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time.
    • Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently.
    • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; looks for ways to improve and promote quality; applies feedback to improve performance; monitors own work to ensure quality.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
    • Maintains all student record archives.
    • Coordinates the transfer of student records to be scanned into laser vault.
    • Process all transcript requests; Maintains transcript log.
    • Handles all student education verification requests.
    • Operates microfilm scanner and laser vault storage.
    • Maintains student record card inventory and distributes to schools.
    • Maintains and verifies transcripts of each graduating class.
    • Compiles graduation statistics reports.
    • Collects graduation programs, diploma lists and summer school programs.
    • Serve as backup to the Student Services desk.
    • Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.
    ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    The environmental factors and/or physical requirements of this position include the following: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills sufficient to visit other locations; and the ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10-50 pounds. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard. The employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear.
