    THE POSITION: We're looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join our office in Mt Sterling, KY. Our HR Generalist collaborates with the corporate human resources team to implement company goals and policies within the Randolph plant while supporting on site management and personnel.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate with divisional and corporate HR to meet deadlines, implement policies and facilitate goals
  • Support local management with all HR processes and protocols
  • Liaise with employees to provide policy interpretation
  • Facilitate on-site recruitment
  • Conduct on-boarding orientations and off-boarding exit interviews
  • Conducts employee discipline meetings and terminations.
  • Support on-site accident investigations and oversee completion of required paperwork according to company policy.
  • Work with employees to address FMLA, LOA, Workers Compensation and other claims, questions and paperwork.
  • REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to act with openness, honesty, credibility, respect and service to drive NEOGEN's Pillars of Trust
