Job summary
The Cellular Therapy Financial Counselor is responsible for coordinating all financial phases of Stem Cell Transplant and Immune Effector Cell (IEC) therapy at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and its partner facilities,located in Boston and the surrounding communities. The job requires knowledge of insurance coverage verification, detailed benefit investigation, or clinical authorizations. Excellent customer service and communication skills are also required.
Includes a detailed review of insurance benefits covering transplant or IEC services as well as confirm other benefits ancillary to these processes such as dental coverage home healthcare rehab retail pharmacy travel lodging etc.
