    Position Summary:
    This LevelIIBSpecial Care Nursery has a 10-bed capacity. The unit provides comprehensive care to critically ill full term and premature infants with various medical conditions. In addition, it provides continuing care to stable, pre-term neonates and chronically ill neonates prior to discharge to home. All infants in theSCNrequire close cardio-respiratory monitoring and ongoing assessments during their stay. Family education is a large part of the interdisciplinary care in theSCN. Our Special Care Nursery operates on a 24-hour basis, seven days a week.

    The selected RN will provide comprehensive, collaborative, evidence-based care to infants requiring stabilization, ongoing assessment, and/or long-term care. Will provide a compassionate and safe environment for our patients, their parents and families, and will continuously monitor and improve performance and customer satisfaction. This position alsocrosstrains to cover in the Mother Infant Unit.

    Qualifications:
    - BSN preferred,BLSrequired,NRPrequired
    - Telemetry monitoringexperiencerequired
    -SCNexperience required, 2 years minimum, 5 years preferred,level 3
    -MCHexperience
    - Ability to work every other weekend and every other Holiday
