    APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring multiple MRI Technician for our client in Newberg, OR for a 26 week contract with a high possibility of extension.

    Position Title: MRI Tech

    Pay Rate: $50- $56/Hourly

    Work Location: Newberg, OR (Newberg, OR Location also available)

    Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00), Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

    Hours/day: 12 Hours

    Contract Duration : 13 / 26 Weeks contract

    Licenses Requirement: ARMRIT or ARRT

    Special Requirements: Client equipment experience

    CINE experience

    Diffusion experience (non-brain)

    Job Description:
    • Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols.
    • Position patients correctly on the MRI table and administer contrast agents as necessary to obtain optimal images.
    • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
    • Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition before, during, and after MRI scans, recognizing and responding to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
    • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers to review images, identify abnormalities, and assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of imaging procedures, including patient history, imaging protocols, and image quality assessments.
    • Perform routine maintenance and quality control checks on MRI equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality.
    • Adhere to regulatory standards, safety guidelines, and departmental policies and procedures at all times.
    • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in MRI technology and best practices.
    • Demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
