    Description
    Position Summary:
    • This role is essential within our manufacturing plants, supporting our team leads in driving production to high safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
    • Exposed to various refrigerated areas within production.
    • Works closely with an experienced Sanitarian (Level 2) to ensure proper sanitation of equipment and areas.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Follow all GMP procedures.
    • Adhere to Food Safety, Quality, and Security Policies.
    • Report equipment failures to Sanitation Manager/Supervisor.
    • Set up and clean production equipment as needed.
    • Use chemicals to sanitize surfaces.
    • Inspect equipment before line release for inspection.
    • Document tasks on sanitation checklist.
    • Wear protective equipment and follow safety procedures.
    • Use cleaning tools for conveyor belts, floors/walls, trash dock, and facility areas.
    • Perform assigned duties diligently.
    Minimum Qualifications:
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
    • Perform tasks within strict time limits.
    • Comfortable working in a cold environment.
    • Flexibility in scheduling.
    • Aptitude for fast-paced environments.
    • Independent and team player capabilities.
    • Strong multitasking skills.
    • Understanding of plant KPIs.
    Physical Work Environment:
    • Utilization of ladders and catwalks for equipment access.
    • Work near moving mechanical parts.
    • Regular exposure to extreme cold.
    • Occasional work in high, precarious places.
    • Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, chemicals, and noise.
