Job Responsibilities:
Primary RankedProcess monthly invoicesSet up and maintain projects in accounting system according to contract termsMaintain project-related records, including contracts and change orders for the accounting filesReview project contracts and additional service requests to understand the financial requirements for each projectSecondaryInput budget data for assigned projectsAdminister invoice submission to clients as directed by project managersMeet frequently with project managers to review status of projects for invoicing, unbilled and accounts receivableWorks independently to research and resolve issuesMay provide accounting support to other staff as neededMay be asked to train, educate or guide non-financial staff on accounting proceduresReport on ad hoc project related requests from project managersRespond to requests for more detail from clientsClose out project accounts upon project completion

Job Qualifications:2-3 year minimum years of billing experience including project accountingExperience with an engineering or professional services industryStrong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detailExperience providing strong client relations to both internal and external stakeholders.

BS in Accounting or a related field is highly preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft products and intermediate to advanced knowledge of ExcelPreferred Proficiency in financial or accounting software like ( Vision or Vantage Point )TxDOT or Public Sector Client experience a plusBenefits to name a few...Established company with a diverse range of projects we work on, a flexible work environment and a collaborative atmosphere.
