    CAIPA MSO is a management service organization in which we service over 2500 providers in the Greater New York City area. Our mission is to alleviate our provider's administrative tasks so they can focus on patient care. The Compliance Associate is responsible for a variety of clerical tasks, and project support to the Compliance Department. These include but are not limited to supporting administrative tasks, providing compliance training, materials and related information to providers and their staff members, and collecting, answering and documenting providers' compliance related inquiries, and referring other inquiries to corresponding department. The individual must be able to communicate and collaborate effectively with others internally, as well as external contacts and resources to achieve desired results and resolution of issues.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with maintaining and updating user access in the compliance management system to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the user information.
    • Act as a first point of contact for system inquiries by management, employees, and providers.
    • Coordinate and track training invitation to schedule on-site and group training for provider offices and CAIPA teams.
    • Prepare training material and templates to share with the provider offices.
    • Monitor and maintain meticulous, accurate, and up-to-date documentation for compliance purposes.
    • Perform new hire and monthly sanction screening for CAIPA employees and contractors.
    • Manage and address inquiries from providers regarding compliance, ensuring prompt and courteous responses to requests for assistance via telephone calls, faxes, and emails.
    • Answer provider inquiries by conducting research using government resources or referring them to the Compliance Officer.
    • Stay informed about the latest developments and changes in relevant laws, regulations, and policies. Dedicate time to thorough Reviews and expedite the process of becoming well-acquainted with these legal and regulatory frameworks.
    • Assist and complete various projects on time.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Requirements:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • High level of personal integrity
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently to execute on program and company initiatives under pressure and motivation to succeed in a competitive environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in related area
    • Two years' experience in compliance, project management, training development or related areas in healthcare industry.

    Salary Range: 56k-65k
