Maintenance Electrician
We're seeking a skilled, licensed Maintenance Electrician who takes pride in keeping facilities and production equipment running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role supporting both building systems and manufacturing equipment, where your electrical expertise will directly impact uptime, safety, and operational performance.

What You'll Do
- Maintain, repair, and install building electrical systems and related services
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair a wide range of manual and automated manufacturing equipment, including process, calibration, and testing equipment, test chambers, welders, and machine tools
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
- Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage PM schedules, work orders, and documentation
- Identify critical spare parts needs and help maintain appropriate inventory levels
- Coordinate with outside contractors and service providers as needed
- Support facilities and cross-functional manufacturing projects
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment, strictly adhering to safety procedures including lockout/tagout, electrical safety standards, compressed gas protocols, fall protection, and proper PPE use
- Respond to after-hours emergency calls when required.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 10+ years of hands-on electrical trade experience
- Current Massachusetts Journeyman or Master Electrician License (required)
- Strong working knowledge of industrial electrical systems including distribution equipment, motors, transformers, control centers, and generators
- Experience with electrical/electronic controls, pumps, and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with machine guarding systems, safety controls, and interlocks
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, control diagrams, manuals, and work instructions
- Computer proficiency (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word)
Preferred Experience
- NFPA 70E training
- Fire alarm systems knowledge
- PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
- Experience with CMMS platforms
- Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and controls
