JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for skilled Senior Engineers to join our dynamic software maintenance and support team. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and supporting OSP 10 and Rel 7.7 software products. Your expertise in Corgi, Pacemaker for RHEL HA, Python, git, ansible, and Jenkins/Groovy will be essential for ensuring the stability and reliability of our software offerings. Collaborating with a team of engineers, you will review vulnerabilities, support customers using previous software versions, and contribute to enhancing our software maintenance processes.

• Performs research, design, implementation, and support tasks as part of a collaborative team.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide maintenance and support for OSP 10 and Rel 7.7 software products

• Review and address published vulnerabilities to maintain software security

• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues

• Contribute to software security by backporting critical CVEs

• Engage with kernel developers to optimize software performance

• Stay informed about industry trends for proactive support and recommendations

• Contribute to software patch development and implementation

• Assist in improving software maintenance processes

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Must have:

• 5-8 years of experience as a Senior Engineer in software maintenance and support

• Experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux/ CentOS administration

• Experience in Information security and PCI compliance processes

• Proficiency in web security patching and vulnerability fixes

• Skilled in MySQL database administration and network security

Would be a plus:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware technologies
