Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Fabricator role in Forest Grove, OR. Key Responsibilities:
· Fabricate metal components and assemblies using blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
· Operate and monitor fabrication equipment such as press brakes, saws, welders, grinders, and other shop machinery.
· Measure, cut, bend, and assemble materials to meet quality and dimensional requirements.
· Perform quality inspections on fabricated parts to ensure accuracy, strength, and finish.
· Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and job travelers.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
· Load and unload raw materials and finished parts, ensuring proper handling and storage.
· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production schedules and resolve fabrication challenges.
· Accurately document work performed, material usage, and any production issues.
· Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or quality issues promptly.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent; prior fabrication or manufacturing experience preferred.
· Experience working with metal fabrication tools and equipment is a plus.
· Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced shop environment.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
· Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures.
· Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
· Flexibility to work swing shift and occasional overtime as needed.
