    Job Title: RN Quality Management Accreditation Specialist

    Company: William Jennings Bryan Dorn VA Medical Center



    Summary:


    This is an ongoing announcement that will remain open until all positions are filled. The initial cut-off date for eligible applications is September 28, 2024. Eligible applications received after that date will be considered as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • English Language Proficiency
    • Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by ACEN or CCNE
    • Current, full, active, and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse

    Grade Determinations:

    Nurse I Level II - Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) with no additional nursing practice/experience

    Nurse I Level III - Approximately 2-3 years of nursing practice/experience

    • Available in the local Human Resources Office

    Physical Requirements:

    • Requires clear vision, keen hearing, and manual dexterity
    • Potential long periods of standing, walking, and other physical tasks
    • Ability to lift and transfer patients and objects

    Duties:

    This role focuses on building a culture of safety within the facility, overseeing accreditation readiness programs, facilitating improvements, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

    Responsibilities include conducting audits, educating staff on regulations, and developing corrective action plans.


    Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
